Serve on our Advancement Council

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences believes we have a unique opportunity to elevate and expand the mental health work being done in our state and throughout the world.
As the only academic psychiatry department serving the five states of the Pacific Northwest WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho), we have become international leaders in developing innovative treatments and translational research that improves the mental health of all populations, including those in rural and under-served areas. Now is the time for innovation and growth in the Mental Health field, and we are poised and driven to increase access to and quality of mental health care in our own state and beyond.
Throughout the next five years, we seek $50 million in private gifts and grants to support our priorities, with the ultimate goal of improving the health of the public. We are looking for volunteers who share our passion for bettering the mental health care system and are willing to serve as a Council Member on our Mental Health Campaign Development Council. Please review the Council Member descriptions or contact Cassidy Gammill, Assistant Director for Philanthropy (206 221-0635; cgammill@uw.edu) for more information.
