Elementary Particle Experimental (EPE) group contributed to the
discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC Collider in Geneva using ATLAS detector and are
studying both the Higgs properties and the possible presence of other
physics, such as Hidden Valley, Supersymmetry and Extra Dimension. The research leads to the 2013 Nobel Prize in physics for British physicist Peter Higgs along with Belgian physicist Francois Englert.
